  31. PhotoCDAGA is a viewer/converter for pictures in the PhotoCD format. It is
  32. based on the sources of the program "hpcdtoppm" written by Hadmut Danisch.

  34. Advantages of PhotoCDAGA:
  35.  
  36. - high picture quality gained by using the overskip mode and map-files
  37.   (probably better than with all other programs)
  38. - it does not cost you anything
  39. - complete source code is included, it can be compiled with all C compilers on
  40.   the Amiga
  41. - high speed (it is compiled with gcc 2.6.3, a part of it is written directly
  42.   in assembly language)
  43. - saving in ppm-format is possible to allow conversion into other picture
  44.   formats
  45.   (e.g. to IFF-ILBM with ppm2AGA or to JPEG with cjpeg)
  46.   In the NETPBM package you can find converters for almost all formats.

  49. Disadvantages: (sorry)

  52. - not very comfortable (shell command)
  53. - resolutions higher than Base (512x768) are not supported
